I received a text from a ten digit phone number with header “Amazon Product Safety Recall.” It claimed an item I purchased in December 2025 had a safety recall and included a link to click for more information. The lengthy message was signed “Amazon Safety and Security Team.” I instead called Amazon directly (not from the text). They advised there were no recalls from my purchases and they would never text from a ten digit number. I deleted the text and blocked the caller.
