OneRPM Text Scam: Tasks, Bitcoin, and Fake Taxes

A reddit report about a crypto scam that cost someone Amount not specified. Learn how to avoid falling victim.

There is a new text scam using OneRPM as the platform to lure you in. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the real OneRPM, but they are using a very sophisticated platform to make it look real. It’s the same scam that has you completing tasks to get paid a commission and a daily paycheck. After wasting a few hours on training and then completing the tasks, you “win” an exorbitant amount of money that you are supposed to withdraw to your Cashapp account in Bitcoin. They then tell you you have to pay taxes on the withdrawal before you can get the money. I knew it was phony from the beginning but played along as it was a slow day for me. Don’t waste your time. As always, these are just scams. Warn your granny and grandpa.
